Kingdom Community Wind Tour

Join Green Mountain IEEE PES for a tour of the Kingdom Community Wind Farm, a 63 MW wind facility. Twenty-one 3 MW Vestas Model V112 Wind Turbines provide interconnection to the Vermont electrical grid. Come learn about this new technology.
Limited to 20 participants
Carpooling provided by VELCO from Rutland. Must meet and leave by 7am.
We can help coordinate carpooling from other locations if you let us know if you want to carpool with others or can offer to carpool. If you are offering to carpool, let us know how many seats will be available.

Kingdom Community Wind is located at 4957 Route 100, Lowell, VT. There is no sign for the facility. The entry road is called Edward Dr., and is marked by a small green sign.
Please plan to arrive at the entry road 25 – 30 minutes before the scheduled time for the tour. This leaves enough time to check in at the gate and drive 1.5 miles to the operations building where the tour begins. Tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.
