Daniel Edward Sniezek of the Binghamton Section to receive the Lancaster Medal from ASQ

IEEE Senior Member Daniel Edward Sniezek, Lockheed Martin (retired), of the Binghamton Section has been selected to receive the Lancaster Medal from ASQ in 2018.

 

The Lancaster Medal is being awarded to Mr. Sniezek in recognition of the outstanding contributions in initiating international member units globally; for serving as an exceptional coach, guide and mentor to the international students; and for serving ASQ and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, or IEEE, in high-profiled positions.

 

ASQ provides the quality community with training, professional certifications, and knowledge to a vast network of members of the global quality community. 

ASQ recognizes outstanding leadership in quality with prestigious medals and awards. The awards recognize individuals for superior achievements in the development, promotion, and communication of quality information and technology.  The Lancaster Medal is presented to the individual who has been recognized by the committee for dedication and outstanding contributions to the International Fraternity of Quality Professionals. The award will be presented at ASQ’s World Conference on Quality and Improvement later this spring.  More information can be found on the ASQ website.

 

Mr. Sniezek currently serves at the Central Area Chair of Region 1 and is a valuable contributor to IEEE in Region 1.
