George Klimiashvili, a senior in Electrical and Computer Engineering, is a recipient of The Charles L. Newton Prize which recognizes engineering students who show a special proficiency in an engineering subject and have conducted research, given a presentation or published a paper.

Outside of his major, George is completing a minor in Economics and has participated in UR Robotics. He has worked as a research assistant in the Wireless Communications and Networking Group, and has worked with Dr. Marvin Doyley on robust minimum variance beamforming through an independent study. George has also held an internship in Software Development at SITA Information Networking Computing USA Inc.

George will be attending Stanford University to complete a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering!
