Dear Member,

The Providence Section is hosting a Senior Member Grade Elevation Event especially for those who meet the requirements for Senior Member and need references, or who want more information about the elevation procedure.

Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Specific details: 

– 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Meet potential references

– 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Dinner and presentation

– 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Finalize references

To be eligible for Senior Member:

Be an Engineer, Scientist, Educator, Technical Executive, or Originator in an IEEE designated field;

Have been in professional practice for at least:
– 7 years if you hold a Baccalaureate degree;
– 6 years if you hold a Baccalaureate and a Masters degree;
– 5 years if you hold a Doctorate.

Show professional maturity and “significant performance” over a period of at least five of those years in professional practice.

Prices for dinner and presentation: IEEE Member and one guest, $25.00 each; IEEE Graduate School Member and one guest, $18.00 each; IEEE Student Member and one guest, $18.00 each; students, $18.00 each; Non-IEEE guests, $30.00 each. Prices for presentation only: IEEE Member and one guest, Free; others, $10.00. The Providence Section must commit to a dinner count in advance, consequently if you make a reservation and do not cancel, payment is required.
