Circuits and Systems/Electron Devices Society Chapter

Durga Misra, Chair

This Chapter is a joint chapter of the IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) Society and the IEEE Electron Devices (EDS) Society.

Electron Devices Society

The field of interest of the Electron Devices Society is all aspects of engineering, physics, theory, experiment and simulation of electron and ion devices involving insulators, metals, organic materials, plasmas, semiconductors, quantum-effect materials, vacuum, and emerging materials. Specific applications of these devices include bio-electronics, biomedical, computation, communications, displays, electro- and micro-mechanics, imaging, micro actuators, optical, photo-voltaics, power, sensors and signal processing.

The EDS society is concerned with research, development, design and manufacture related to the materials, processing, technology, and applications of such devices, and scientific, technical, educational and other activities that contribute to the advancement of this field.

Circuits and Systems

The field of interest of the Circuits and Systems Society is the theory, analysis, design (computer aided design), and practical implementation of circuits, and the application of circuit theoretic techniques to systems and to signal processing. The coverage of this field includes the spectrum of activities from, and including, basic scientific theory to industrial applications.”
