In this talk, the speaker will introduce the concept of absorptive frequency-selective structures, which are different from the traditional frequency-selective structures (FSS). By introducing losses or absorbers into the traditional FSS, designers can design both absorptive frequency-selective reflection (AFSR) and absorptive frequency-selective transmission (AFST) structures.
