Virtual: https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/558194

The IEEE North Jersey Section Education Committee and Communications Society Chapter is offering a course entitled "T-Paper: Technical Paper Writing and Publication: AI Research and its Applications". This event is organized in collaboration with Canadian-American-Ghanaian Research Forum on AI Technologies. IEEE North Jersey Section and Professor Yu-Dong Yao, Editor-in-Chief of "AI Engineering" and IEEE Fellow, will organize a four-session hands-on training class on technical paper writing and publication. The class will meet on Saturdays via Zoom, with each session lasting one hour. The hands-on training (with exercises to teach and aide in the publication process) will cover topic selection, research data preparation, paper writing, and paper submission. Participants will learn practical steps towards preparing and submitting a technical research paper, with the goal of becoming a published author within eight weeks. Prerequisites: 1. Undergraduate juniors/seniors, graduate students, or working professionals. 2. Basic understanding of AI concepts. 3. Prior research experience related to AI. Class Schedule: Four Saturdays 9-10am May 23 through June 13, 2026. (5/23, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13). Four Zoom meetings, one hour each. Zoom meeting ID: No tuition fees, but must register online to attend.
