Programming a Robot Dog! Learn about Network Protocols in Python

April 5, 2023 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Finally, it’s the workshop with our friendly robot dog hosted by Nick Zizic! This workshop will be around two hours long with ample Q+A support. Once again, Free food and drinks will be provided. Come by and visit him to learn more about how to utilize Python, MQTT, and Linux WSL to work with IoT (internet of things) devices. For more specific details regarding this workshop, Nick says: “Basically the title is just like wow this is a cool dog (very true). I’ll explain the architecture of our dog and how to develop it, then go over the network protocol that is used to program it (known as MQTT). The protocol is useful if you want to work with IoT devices like Alexa or a smart fridge or whatever other thing that doesn’t need a computer in it but has it anyways.”
