R1 Student Conference
The health and safety of students, volunteers and IEEE staffs are our top priority. Last night (3/10/2020), the IEEE Region 1 Student Conference Steering Committee reached the unfortunate conclusion that the current COVID-19 situation is beyond our control, and it has affected many schools travel plan. Hence, we decided to postpone the student conference either to December 2020, or early 2021. Once we have confirmed the new date, we will send out the e-notice, or you can check here for updates on the conference.
The IEEE Region 1 Student Conference (StuCon) is the premier annual event where student branches from IEEE Region 1 – the eight Northeastern United States (CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, RI and VT) – meet to discuss mutual challenges and to compete in regional competitions. Located this year in scenic Maine! Make your plans today to attend this unique event!

The conference objective is to encourage lively student engagement and provide opportunities for students to network and learn from other students from across Region 1 while applying practical engineering knowledge in the various competitions.
