2021 Joint Princeton/Central Jersey and New Jersey Coast Section Holiday Dinner

The 2021 Joint IEEE Princeton/Central Jersey and New Jersey Coast Section Holiday Gathering will be held at the Rutgers University Inn, New Brunswick, NJ, on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021. The event will start at 6 pm. The IEEE Princeton/Central Jersey Section and the IEEE New Jersey Coast Section have organized this joint event to allow volunteers from both sections to meet in person, as well as to attract members into volunteering. Please join us in recognizing the achievements of our members and their contributions to the engineering profession, our community, and the IEEE Princeton/Central Jersey and New Jersey Coast Section activities. As there was no gathering in 2020, members who have received awards since 2019 are asked to bring their plaques and/or certificates for a display so that their accomplishments may be recognized.

This gathering is free of charge to volunteers of the Princeton/Central Jersey and New Jersey Coast Sections and an accompanying guest; those in those sections who are interested in volunteering; and invited guests. Special dietary requests (other than vegetarian as there is a vegetarian entrée) must be received no later than November 30th.

Menu:

Food will be buffet-style and will include a chicken entrée, a beef entrée, and a vegetarian entrée; a vegetable, a starch, and two salads; dinner rolls and butter; a sliced fresh fruit platter, and the dessert of the day. These will be placed on plates by a server (not self-service) to alleviate health concerns.

Beverages supplied by Rutgers include iced tea, coffee, and tea; and the Joint Sections will be purchasing wines as well (Rutgers does not have a liquor license, but we are permitted to bring our own wines.)

– Notes on food allergies and special preferences will be passed on to the Rutgers Inn. It is the attendee’s responsibility to check with the service staff.
– Separate registration is required for an accompanying guest.
– During dinner, beverages will be self service – an accompanying adult must supervise an underage guest.

The front desk will register guest vehicle information electronically upon check in. You will need your license plate information upon check in. Please be sure to bring that information so you can avoid having to go back out to your car. Rutgers University students and staff must check their issued permit for parking restrictions.
