Accelerating Power Electronics Development Cycle with Simulation and Rapid Control Prototyping
November 30, 2016 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Co-sponsored by: RESC
Our second lecture on the HIL/PIL series will offer the methodology to speed up development process. Dr Jin will explain a workflow for quick concept validation, and automatic embedded code generation and Processor-In-the-Loop (PIL) simulation for rapid control prototyping, as well as demo of running PSIM and SPICE simulations from one integrated environment.
In this lecture, you will:
- Know when to perform simulation, and to what details (behavior/system-level vs. device level)
- Understand the difference of analog control and digital control, and how to migrate from analog to digital control
- How to perform auto code generation for TI DSP for quick hardware implementation
- How to perform PIL simulation for code validation
