Hydroelectric Station Plant Tour

IEEE – PES, Connecticut Chapter has arranged a plant tour of a 42.6MW hydroelectric station located in Southbury, CT. The Shepaug Generating Station is a single-unit hydroelectric station located on the Housatonic River. The unit was originally built in 1955 and is owned and operated by First Light Power Resources.
