IEEE North jersey Section
PACE
ENGINEERS MEET

This month, PACE plans to have an open discussion about jobs for Engineers.

Engineers, STEM and Students faced 2.210 million H-1B X 3 yrs. = 6.630 million man years of jobs and/or man years of opportunities taken from U.S. workers and students. Millions of Jobs and Opportunities have been stolen from our Members. Our PACE will begin a series of ENGINEERS MEETINGS to Increase Opportunities, Jobs and discuss the impact of the H-1B Programs. Since 1990, this H-1B legislation has destroyed opportunities for our Members and has had a detrimental effect on salaries. Many say that H-1B is a Wage Busting program; it takes jobs from American workers, and has them train their replacements. Is H-iB being abused by American employers?

We are joining forces with the AEA and inviting Engineers from the other Engineering groups to join us.

We also need to bring jobs back to New Jersey. We would like your opinion. This should be a great meeting. ASME, AICHE, ASCE, etc Members are all invited.

About the Meeting:

We are bringing members of both the IEEE and the AEA together and inviting Members of other groups: ASME, etc. to join us. AEA already has a Position Paper addressing this issue. We will review the Paper at the meeting.
