Introduction to Blockchain Workshop

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last decade, you’ve probably heard about cryptocurrency or blockchain technology. Despite the hype, you might not understand it and at this point, you are probably too afraid to ask.
Join us for an easy introduction that will cover what blockchain is, how it works, and the characteristics of modern cryptography. We will also cover the basics of Bitcoin and how blockchain technology is used in cryptocurrency. Finally, we will apply our smarts to create a basic model of a blockchain data structure using Python.
Requirements: Python and any text editor or IDE
