Life Member Affinity Group Presents Zoom Meeting: Realizing The Promise of Smart & Connected Cities

Cities around the world are, more and more, aiming at becoming a smart city. But what is a smart city? What is behind the concept: a trendy term or real implementation? What does therefore becoming smart entail and what type of initiatives and technologies can make a city smart(er)? During this presentation, all these questions will be discussed, taking into account that a smart city is a multi-dimensional and multi-stakeholder phenomenon that requires decisions about goals (the vision), tools (the technology), and processes (among other, the engagement of citizens and other stakeholders).
