This is an advanced notice that the 2020 IEEE Magnetics Society Distinguished Lecturer, Masashi Shiraishi (Kyoto University, Japan) will deliver his Distinguished Lecture titled “Spins in Low-dimensional Materials Systems: Transport, Gate-control and Conversion” on Zoom on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 6:30 PM EDT. This is the continuation of a virtual IEEE DL series co-hosted between Boston (Yunume Fitchorova), Richmond (Radhika Barua) and Washington, DC (Dan Gopman) sections.
