- Overview of Power Quality Fundamentals – definitions of typical problems. Identification of Power Quality Symptoms -> Sources -> Solutions
- Symptoms and sources of typical Power Quality problems including interruptions, sags, harmonics, and transients
- Technology overview with regard to Power Quality problems and the latest corrective equipment (solutions)
- Return on Investment (ROI) for application of Power Quality corrective means
- Examples of case studies where a power quality problem was identified, a recommendation was made to correct the problem, and the result of the implemented change.
- Power factor correction and discussion of false energy savers
- Video demonstrations of Power Quality problems and solutions recorded from the Power Systems Experience Center (www.eaton.com/experience)

The seminar fee includes lunch, refreshments and handouts. Non-members joining IEEE within 30 days of the seminar will be rebated 50% of the IEEE registration charge.
Four hours of instruction will be provided. If desired, IEEE Continuing Education Units (0.4 CEUs) will be offered for this course – a small fee of $45 will be required for processing.
