Total Power System Integration

Total Power System Integration – focusing on the role power plays in the application.  We will look at the byproduct of mechanical power generation, heat, and how it can be managed in an indoor application. This conversation about indoor applications will include discussions around fuel management and sources, exhaust management and control, convection cooling control, and NFPA 37.  We will then transition over to the topic of electrical power where we will discuss protection, dynamic load demand, load management, and how an application engineer can gain confidence to their design while holding every manufacturer on equal footing through the specification process.

The presentation works to highlight ways an engineer can work to take responsibility for the design and hold the market to an expectation while supporting the best interests of the client.

The seminar fee includes lunch, refreshments and handouts.  Non-members joining IEEE within 30 days of the seminar will be rebated 50% of the IEEE registration charge.

Four hours of instruction will be provided.  If desired, IEEE Continuing Education Units (0.4 CEUs) will be offered for this course – a small fee of $45 will be required for processing.
