On December 4th, Life Members held an event, Radio People and Radio Devices – The 200 Year Path of Human Endeavor and Radio Technology, at the Antique Wireless Association Museum in Bloomfield, NY. Attendees had the option of going on a guided tour or exploring the museum’s collection. The collection spanned telegraphy, early spark gap technology, vacuum tubes, early radios for AM and shortwave reception, military radios, ham radio equipment, and transmitters from all of those same eras. There was also video equipment from early and later TV stations. The museum had subject matter experts on hand; they made the tour a very valuable experience for the 12 attendees.
