The IEEE Connecting the Unconnected Summit is the culmination of a year-long effort by
IEEE’s Future Networks Initiative (FNI) to encourage and reward projects and concepts that help bridge the digital divide in underserved areas across the globe.
Our three-day summit will feature experts and thought leaders on the issue of the Digital Divide through keynote talks, invited talks, and panels with regulators, multinational companies, standards-setting bodies, non-profits, and others.
The Summit will also serve as an Awards Ceremony for the 1st IEEE Connecting the Unconnected Challenge, and winners of this new competition will present their solutions and interact with attendees.
