Location
The IEEE Buffalo Section is located in Buffalo, New York, USA. It covers the Western New York area, which is the Western part of the State of New York. It has a Northern boundary of Lake Ontario and a Southern boundary of the State of Pennsylvania. It is adjacent to the IEEE Rochester Section to the East. To the West is Lake Erie and Ontario, Canada. It includes the following counties: Niagara, Erie, Genesee, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Alleghany.
The IEEE Buffalo Section holds meetings at the State University of New York University at Buffalo (known as UB to the locals) and the State University of New York Buffalo State College (known as Buff State to the locals).
