2016 Awards Banquet and IEEE Milestones Dedication
In recognizing the achievements of our members and their contributions to the engineering profession, our community, and the IEEE New Jersey Coast Section activities. This year, we had two internationally recognized IEEE Milestones in Electrical Engineering and Computing: ASCII and TAT-8. IEEE President Barry Shoop dedicated the milestone plaques in the presence of senior executives from industry. Banquet keynote was by Bob Lucky, known worldwide for his writing and speaking about technology and society. The banquet and milestones dedication provided a unique opportunity for companies and organizations to meet and congratulate the awardees and showcase their local presence.
