Power Under Siege: Cybersecurity Strategies for Critical Infrastructure

February 19 @ 04:00 - 09:00

Cyberattacks like ransomware are increasingly targeting the systems that power our critical infrastructure across all industries. As electrical systems and other operational technologies (OT) become more connected and digital, they often lack the cybersecurity needed to stay safe and reliable. This session explores how to strengthen cybersecurity across electrical systems to protect uptime, safety, and operational integrity. Attendees will learn how to assess risks across people, processes, and technology—from high-level systems to sub-systems components. We’ll share practical strategies for identifying and fixing vulnerabilities, integrating cybersecurity into lifecycle maintenance, and improving cost efficiency and resilience. Whether you’re a technical expert or a business leader, you’ll leave with actionable insights to better protect your organization. Speaker(s): Bryan, Agenda: The seminar fee includes lunch, refreshments and handouts. Non-members joining IEEE within 30 days of the seminar will be rebated 50% of the IEEE registration charge.
